Rand Water commissions Computer Training Centre

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Rand Water Services has donated 20 computers and accessories to start a Computer Training Centre at AVRL head office.

The Computer Training Centre was designed purposely to provide staff with computer literacy courses that will enhance their IT knowledge and facilitate efficiency and productivity.      

Among dignitaries present at the commissioning of the facility were Dr. Hannah Bisiw, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing; Kweku Botwe, MD for GWCL; Martin Nijsse, MD for AVRL; Mogan Padayachee, Ag.MD for Rand Water and other representatives from Rand Water Services and the South African High Commission.

Mr. Kenneth Adu Amanfoh, General Manager, ICT and his ICT team were also present to grace the occasion.
